So i understand the basic principles of cloning although i have one simple question that maybe one of you pro's can help me out with. Simple as this... how early can you take a cutting for a clone?

as long as it has two nodes on it, and its long enough to be placed in a medium, your good.

baller so i'll wait about 3 or 4 weeks into vegging then i'll clone those little whores! lol i call em whores because me and my friends will be sharing once finished!

The way to clone a plant is to wait for her to mature, so your clones are mature and can go in 12/12 as soon asthey are established. When the nodes are asymetrical then she is mature and prime for cloneing.

ok so then i will wait until she is about 7 - 8 weeks in then i'll cut em, thanks again!

ya like ganga, I wait until they are mature as well. I clip them the day I send them into flower. I clip the bottom branches off, clone them, veg them until harvest and repeat. I veg longer to get them nice and big, but continuous cycle is better. Losing the bottom branches makes it easier to water, if you water by hand

I think by then she will be mature. Just wait for those alternating nodes.
And I tell you a good way to get them going is to top her when she gets
high enough for you (18" imo) then wait one week and those branches youa re going to cut will be full of hormones and very long so one branch you can get several good clones.
