it finally rooted the other day and when i take the humidity dome off my plant starts to droop after a few hours the lights are about like 3 or 4 inches above the top of the plant and when i put it back on it just pops right back up

why does it droop?
or why is it drooping?

Sounds like its not quite ready yet for the dome to be taken off. The wilt its lack of internal pressure due to inability to hold water. Give it a couple more days of good humidity. Rather than removing the top of your clone chamber, crack it open a bit and widen the gap if you can over a period of 2 days. By then, you should be able to remove the top entirely.
The wilt may also be the lights are too intense for the plant without the top to filter out some of the light rays. Try less wattage perhaps.
