Cloners are meant for hydro- you CAN put them in soil, but must do so when the roots are really small and try not to break them off during planting.... the longer the roots get the lower the success rate when put into soil, as the roots in hydro are NOT the same as the roots in soil-- the "scales" and hair-root structures are completetly different in order for the uptake to adapt to the hydroponic environment.....

Great tip ladyzandra. I will make sure to get them in soil with small roots and be very gentle. Once again RIU comes up with excellent advice. Thanks guys!

Do you have a recomendation on how long the roots should be? 1/2"? 1"? 2"?
