Clone machine question/ idea

So I'm thinking about making a clone machine. I have seen lots of misting manifolds that are basically the same. My question is about the amount of water to be misted and the size of the mist ( large drops or fine mist) my idea is to use a misting hose. The kind with a very very fine mist. Please give opinions or experiences. Cheers

The finer the mist the better I believe. This comes from the idea of fogponics.

A fine mist. Keep them wet but not to hard spry over limes to wash solution off stems
