Clone Problems

Hi, my name is Mini and I cut my clones about 6 days ago. They've been doing great until a couple days ago their lower leaves seem to be turning brown and almost burning, and a couple of the leaves are really yellowing. They started with 2.5 gallons of water and .5 tsp of Rapid start for the first 5 days, then switched to 2.5 gallons and 1 tsp of Rapid Start yesterday. The leaves started the look sick before the water change, and still not looking much better. They're under 24/0 light in an hydroponic cloner with a humidity dome. I'm not sure why they're looking sick or what to do, any tips or help would be appreciated :)

Could be a PH issue. It would be wise to check and see if there is a slime that is coating your water resivoir. If there is you have a bacterial bio film that is killing the cuttings. Clean the res out with peroxide (h2o2) and add some Dutch Master Zone and use it in your res with that rapid start to keep the bio film at bay. It would also be wise to scrap the Rapid Start and use some Clonex Solution not to be confused with the clonex gel. ----Keep your ph at 5.7-6.4----

When clones start to look like hell it just means that the process is working.

As long as they have green on them and are standing then consider everything to be going well. But for real anytime I cut clones I know they have started to root when the larger leaves start to look horrible.

I would take off the dome though. Looks like you might be starting to get a little powdery mildew...once you remove the dome it should go away...if you keep seeing white spots on the leaves that look almost like water spots on a freshly washed car then take a Tbsp of milk and mix it with a gallon of water and spray the plants down...that should clear it right up.

Ive been making sure the ph is about at 5.8, but i will definitely check the water and make sure there's no slime or stagnant water.

in person i cant see any mildew, but we have had a problem with mites and the leaves do have bite marks. whenever i take the dome off the clones for long they will droop and look really sad lol
