If done properly you really don't need to mist except for when you initially cut them and put in your clone dome. Misting is overdone. A proper 45 degree cut and moist medium will feed your plant fine. My clones look like plants once rooted because i don't foiler feed. Also, why would a plant grow roots if it's beeing fed water through it's leaves. See what I mean.
Lastly, most clones I see that are sprayed a few times a day have wilted wimpy leaves.
At day three or four you should be slowly hardening the plants by opening the breather holes on the dome. Once those are open for a day keep the dome slightly open. If they droop close it back up and try keepin the lid slightly open the next day. Keep doing this until you can remove the dome.
By day five my clones have no dome and are being fed 150-200ppm of veg nutes. That little cut uptakes water and nutes.
Put the squirt bottle down my friend.
