I've been having a problem when clones are set in 1.5" rock wool cubes. (Btw, this prob doesn't happen with oasis cubes). Five - 8 days after putting the cutts in the r.w. cubes the very top start yellowing. Right below the tops where leaflets are slightly larger and distinct, both yellowing and upward-curling occur along the edges - right at the mid-point if you look at it length-wise.
Below these leaflets there are 1 or 2 leaves on the stem and they look fine; plus the cutts still poke healthy roots after 10-15 days despite the deteriorating tops.
My moms look like rock stars so I'm pretty sure they're not the problem. Plus this didn't happen when i tested it with oasis cubes.

Here's how I'm preparing my cutts and the rockwool
1. Prepare r.w. soak solution with 3gal / water. Sometimes I've added KLN or Superthrive and ph to 5.5. Sometimes I've tried just 5.5ph water. Cubes soak for 30 minutes to 24 hrs. (tried both time frames).
2. Drain cubes so they're slightly moist but airy.
3. Sterilize snips and Xacto knife.
4. Snip 6" cutts off mom and place temporarily in 5.5ph water
5. Then slice stem at node at 45°w/ xacto underwater to avoid embolism
6. Snip off lower leaves except for top 2-3 and then snip outer half of these leaflet tips
7. Dip cutts in Olivia's and insert into cube hole
8. Mist clones and humidity dome
9. Place humidity dome over tray and then set tray on a towel that lays on a heat mat.
11. Clone room is 68-72°
12. Re-water cubes as needed usually in 3-4 days till roots appear.
Anyone know what I'm doing wrong and how to fix it?
