Clone transplanting help

Hi guys new member here. I am new to growing but have been doing tons of research. My question is, i have 7 clones in a diy aerocloner and about 3 of them are starting roots, about a 16th long, just started. So i am going to be placing them in a dwc setup, but should i place them directly in hydroton or should i split a rockwool cube in half, soak it, and place the clone in the sandwhiched rockwool while the roots are that short so they can grow into the rockwool cube?

Ok thank you so much. Should i wait till the roots get a little longer like couple inches or so and also i currently do not have hydroton i have natural colored aquarium gravel, would that work ok?

Yea youre right if im gonna do it may as well do it right. For the clones i used a diy aerocloner with seven collars. I cut the clones at a angle, then dipped in technaflora roottech, then placed in collars. The solution in the bucket is the clonex solution and thats all im running in that with a timer set to 30 on 30 off. 3 of my clones rooted in 4 days. For my dwc i have AN jungle juice 2 part grow and 2 part bloom and cyco silica and for flower a sample jug of big bud. I do not have a enzyme cleaner yet tho what would you reccomend?

Thanks man im learning patience is a virtue with these girls lol. I have a Banana Punch and a LSD in soil right now that are 2 and a half weeks into flower. They were my first grow to learn on. They arnt very tall or anything because newbie mistake i took them the whole way thru veg on a 45w led panel, then i ordered a 600w led grow light with the veg and bloom switch. So now i have them flowering under the 600w led and the 45w led panel on the side of them. Theyre starting to get little buds popping up tho so im happy with the outcome for it being a test run grow.

Wait until the roots are like a foot long before transplant. At least long enough to reach out the bottom of the pot and into the water.
Cut a small hole in the bottom of your netpot.
Feed roots through hole.
Gently fill around them with hydoton.

Doing it this way will make your life way easier.

Transplant pics in here.
