How many inches can a clone grow in 2 weeks under a 1000W light on a 18/6 in soil. Would they grow the same amount under a 400w than they would under a 1000w?

What would be better lights to Veg under T5, MH, HPS or CFL's

T5 or MH would be best for vegging. Both have their pros and cons: MH will give you a better light penetration, but will result in higher temps and a higher electricity bill. T5 will use less energy and make less heat, but just simply won't pack the punch that a MH can (This is coming from someone who uses a T5).

Exactly..The 1000 watt will grow some monster but the 400 would be good.
