Clone wars!!!!!

I am going to take some cuttings tomorrow and have laid out a game plan to follow. If SOMEONE, ANYONE for that matter can make sure that my plan is not full of holes I would appreciate it. Flushed my girls yesterday with plain h2o and am going to mist the branches that I will use today. Got some dip-n-grow and clonex, 1" rockwool cubes(cut in half) tray with dome and a heat mat. Now any tips, tricks, pointers etc??? I know temp RH air moisture all play a huge part in this, but what is the most critical? What is the biggest negative factor? Diagonal cut or straight cut? dome or no dome? rooting hormone or nothing? Please Help!!!

hey max thanks for the reply but I only have net access on my phone and it looks like that may have been a video clip you posted. Unfortunately I couldn't get it, is there a different site for the clip?

Taking a cutting on an angle exposes more of the stem to grow roots. Actually you should lightly scrape the sides of your cutting, use a rooting hormone on the places you scraped, do not put the hormone on the angle cut. Keep it in indirect light and a humidity dome is strongly recommended. The cuttings have no roots so they get their water through their leaves. The indirect light will help promote root growth instead of photosynthesis to produce leaves. Mist your cutting/s a couple of times a day and you should be good to go.

thanks heads up. What about temp and humidity? Will 75-80 be ok for temp? And humidity should be high, 95%? I will cut at 45 angle and scrape the edges to promote root growth. Is clonex ok? I also have some dip-n-grow. Any suggestions on dilution rates for them? THANKS

And clonex is the shiznit, love it.... I water my clones with it every time and my success rate is 100% and fully rooted within 10 days and I never see defs while waiting for them to root. I use 1 teaspoon per gallon every watering and sometime I hit them with a foliar feeding too

also do I need to soak these cubes 24 hours? the brand is grodan, it's says not to soak that long on package. I see "too much" moisture leading to mold, disease, etc. But I could be missing something. thanks everyone
