Clones are growing but no roots?

I read where if also has to do where u take the clones from on the plant, the bottom of the plant, u get better and faster results if you use the lower branches on the plant u take the clones from.
The closer to the top you take the clones from, the longer it will take.
I have actually heard the opposite of this and that it's better to take clones from the fresh growth up top. Sometimes the stems can get woody down below. Now I have to go read more lol.

I heard the same from that show American Weed. The Stanley Brothers are/were? in the business of growing so I'll go by them for now.

Mine have continued growing for 2 weeks without roots. I took the cutting well into Veg so I'm guessing that's why.
I think my problem is that the rockwool/soil was too saturated. The cuttings weren't trying to grow roots since they were getting plenty of water elsewhere.

I drained out the containers and will see if roots grow faster as it gets drier.

Hi

Well finaly roots, lots of roots. I put a little nutes in the water, and I got a load of growth.

The best of which being off the plant that I want to keep as a mother, Great.

No, I would like to wate longer in the bubbler and transplant when the plants have big root structurers.
If I want to do this, should I make sure that the stem is out of the water?
What nutrients did you use?

Cloning is weird and results seem to always vary. Right now I'm experimenting with my clones - I cut them pretty haphazardly just to see what happens. Also, I took my cuttings from a plant that recovered from pyth. People say pyth is eminent now, but nobody has proven that in my searches so I want to find out. Also, my incredibly high quality harbor freight water pump with about a weeks worth of use took a crap yesterday and when I came home from work, the stems were super dry and many leaves were dried up and curling. To see if/how they'd recover, I put another water pump in last night and this morning, viola first signs of roots. I cut them last Thursday btw. Strain is Super Lemon Haze, Ph is 5.6, no rooting gels used, cal-mag added to water (my ppm for my city water is below 80), and added regen-a-root. Used the same razor on all cuttings and my angles are all over the place. Haphazard. To further explain the IDGAF approach, the mother show'd too many Indica phenotypes when I was looking for a Sativa dominant plant - she had FAT leaves and stayed super short and bushy.

There have been times in the past where I've done everything "right," used expensive gel's, and I've had worse luck than this.

Hey keep us posted if that fully roots.. I've been having trouble with my aerocloner lately and your stem looks just like mine. The root nubs never really grow past that. I used to get great results every time in less than 8 days. Been throwing me for a loop lately, lucky if 25%root and it takes 3 weeks.......

Tried cleaning REALLY well with bleach, water temps @ 70, weak dose h202, heavy dose h202, and read 20 different threads with people having the same issues. Concensus seems to be buy a new unit because we can't ever seem to get rid of the bug once you got it.

EWC tea has helped once the root nubs are present.

Perhaps it's actually present in the water. I have gotten it under control but gonna keep adding bleach as a preventative for the rest of this run. This is actually in my growing res and plants have rooted, it hit about 11 days in and fighting it since. I'm using low pressure spray nozzles as well though.
