Clones From Mother In Soil?

can i take clones from my mother plant which is a dwc hydro system and put it into rockwool and transfer it to soil. this might be a dumb question but i could not find the solution anywhere.

thanks man i thought so i just wondered if the rockwool would get moldy or anything. should i fullu submerge it in the dirt or leave the top of it close to the top of the dirt?

If it's sturdy either way will work. If it's stretched bury it deep.

ok thanks for the info guys. im going to be using a cfl light for the mother plant and then take the clones and flower them in soil under a 400 hps. im just getting my feet into hydro and realizing the expenses. do you think this is a good idea or should i try building a couple more bucket systems or maybe a rubbermaid one for the flowering room.
