They normally only take about a week to 10 day for me like just sitting on the bottom of the heated prop with now lid on or nothing

Can even take up to 21 days(in-fact) The BIG, but cheap Propagator I just recently got of FleaBay has taken the longest out of all My D.I.Y. cloning methods inc Clear Plastic Bags over just small pots of dirt.
As long as they still Green at Top then don't worry so much...what are the size of Leaves did you leave on the cuttings/clones? this can slow things down IF too BIG or too Many..I tend to cut them down a bit(maybe a 3rd) less for the cutting/clone to support.

I've heard bubble cloners are quick though....

hope you sort...

Peace

EDIT: @ Markob is that a CFL in the Propagator....?

The bubbler I made I just use tap water and cheap sponges to support the clones easiest way I have found and not using the humidity dome on prop helps them to go.straight under hid

Yeah its a cfl.
Just wondered, I have a large Propagator off FleaBay > > bit like this one > >

I have a 15w CFL above the Propagator(About 12") but I have never put one inside before??
And I also have a very small heat mat under a sheet of Glass under the Propagator..never even concerned myself with Temps/Humidity..so long as I can see moisture build up I'm happy(I clean this moisture off daily and it comes back)..have had over 95% success rate(Though this time some took longer) but All have roots, and that's out of 24 cuttings.

I do spray em and let em breathe twice a day and check rock wool Cubes are moist...

Peace

I let about an inch hang under the sponge, with just a bit in the water and the air stone creates enough bubbles to keep the bottom of the sponges moist just keep the water above the air stone

Good information in this thread, I'm trying to get some clones now, but the old fashion gel hormone way.
I'll know in a week or two, it's pretty cold, so yeah.

  1. If your temp is 77 stable and your water is free of bacteria you can pull roots in 4-6 days. Fluctuations in temp slow things down significantly. 72 stable id expect roots at 9 days 65-75 fluctuating it would be about 13-15 days etc
