Clones in 100 gallon pots

Is it worth it to put a clone straight into 100 gallon pot without indoor veg or would a smaller pot be better? Im in Northern Cali if that matters

always transplant up until it's established. it's too hard to water them that way

I usually put clones in 4” pots in 65s. Never had an issue, water accordingly

I would say its totally worth it. You have a good 2 months of solid veg time. They will be about 15-20 foot tall just so you know. Just make sure you are only watering the root zone and only every 3-4 days. It will take a month for the roots to fill the pot.

Just be sure to properly harden it off first.

Im currently growing in some 65 gallons and have trouble with watering finding a suitable amount started with 5 gallons but feels like im watering every other day
