Clones in the outdoors?

I'm not sure if I am going to have enough money for the fem seeds I want for my summer grow, which sucks but oh well what can u do. Anyways, i have some dank ass strains, but they are all clones. I know my yeilds wont be anywhere close to as much, but how well will it go? they will be about 2 feet when i stick em in the ground, in little 2 plant pvc greenhouses. Im gonna strip the bottom 30% of the plant and bury it deep down to the stripped stock will act sort as a tap root, mostly just to give the stability. Any suggestions or should i just try really hard to get them seeds?

Planted clones outdoors, and ended up with 7' plus plants.......and they were onto about a foot tall when I stuck em in the ground.......don't be too upset as I plan to do the same thing again this year........

well fuck ya guys. well obviously 36 plants is gonna give me way over the legal limit, but imma store it and hide it away for like.... the whole year. haha :o

A clone is a plant so it should do as good as you veg it. Hence you won't get your straight across horizontal leave sets with most clones like from seed but topping a clone can help yield a lot Also scroggin and Sog which you can still do outdoor and keep them low.

grow above the ground, go up. restrict the lateral roots and you'll keep it small. grow bags, coffee sacks, wooden planters.....

I had clones mixed in with my seed plants last year and by the end of the year I couldnt tell wich was wich. There is no reason to expect to get less off a clone.

Interesting thread...
I have no experience with cloning, but am certainly interested!
Question for those with experience in it: What has proven to be an effective medium for clones to be put in right after cutting?

i used rockwool cubes for my first try at cloning and i got 13 out of 13 rooted! but im gonna be digging 3x3x3 ft holes in the ground, starting in like a week since 36 27 cubic foot holes are gonna take a while, so the lateral roots will have room to spread. i just heard that yields for seed were 25% less outdoors, but i guess its all in how u grow it. thanks everyone!
