clones taken 17 days into flower, to prove a point

well I know that I have said a few things about my personal experiences cloning, but I am currently trying to clone from a plant that has been flowering for exactly 6 weeks today,,, fingers crossed,,, cut,, dipped in rooting powder,, put in rockwool cube,,, put in a red party cup with foxfarm dirt around it,,, plant is bag weed chronic,,, smells heavily like bubble gum (heavily),, but couldnt get up the nerve to cut this excellent plant... wasnt easy finding a branch that wasnt heavily budded,, but this had to be done.. so has anyone tryed the air purifiers at walmart,, its smellin way too good here....peace.....

ya i use soiless it is very easy.. i use and like big clones i take abranch about 6 to 8 inches long.. cut them from plant ,put them in cup with water
..you need at least 2 nodesbelow soil and 3 above
..have clean razor blade cut nodes close to stem and a 45*on bottom
.. roll in rooting hormon( i like the gel)
.. make hole with pencil or finger, put clone in push the soil aroud it and
water to get soil good contact with clone.but notto much
.. i make a tent from plastic under a flo , mist a coupe times of day
more often if air is really dry ..
..make sure you use clean tools

Since you already have cloning experience, this will not be a big deal. You will hvae to over time trim all of the old flowering growth off of it. When I did this with clones that had been flowering that long I trimmed and pruned them every two weeks for a couple of months. You don't want to trim too much at a time, a little here a little there. You will talk to that plant for a while. VV

yo vv did you stay in 12/12 or revert back to veg after you cut the clones?????.............. I do like that whole,, 2 nodes under,, 3 nodes up idea,, I think that is a good thing, def. ...........................................

How do you guys get the salt out of your water? mine is loaded and im looking for a eascy/cheap way to do it

I take the clones from the existing plants when they are ready to go into flowering. I put my clones on 18/6 light schedule. I don't need to rush them, with my setup it will be a month before I am ready to flower them. Thats why I am not a good source for cloning. VV
