well i cut 8 clones on the 8th (14 days ago) and none of them have rooted yet. just want to know if its normal/not uncommon for this to happen. My first batch were all rooted by day 14. any input would be helpyful :)

are they all looking healthy or wilty? did u use any rooting hormone? clones can take up to 3 weeks to go, if mine dont take with in 7 days i start more. but it all depends on your conditions but if clones are not rooting it could be multiple things stem rot, air bubble in the stem ect..

they look pretty healthy but i'm 90% sure they have some stem rot. i used rooting hormones (powder). i've already started more. thanks

Get your self some clonex gel - powder sucks. Also, split the bottom of the stem with a razor and scrape the green off of a bit of the outside to expose the white part underneath. This is the stuff that reacts with the hormones to make new roots. Also, are you using a heated cloning tray with humidity dome? And are you taking cuttings from the bottom of the mother?

yes im using a humidity dome and no its not heated. i used that scraping method ont he stems (scarification?) and i also trimmed the leaves. i think the problem is just the rockwool was too wet when i did and then being placed in the humidity dome never gave it the chance to dry out.. i've taken more now. And i took clones where ever i saw decent stem. What are the fest parts to clone? the big fan leaves or those branches that.. branch out to those smaller leaves ( where the buds grow)?
