The organic mg is good shit, I have a 18" super silver in my closet doing great, did you mix in some perlite for drainage? stay off any extra nutes and water lightly untill they turn around

this is driving me nuts, i have well water and I'm leaning towards that as my problem.

I dont have a good ph meter so i could be off. I'm hoping it's 6.5, i cant even get a thermomater to work, i have 3 and they all say different readings.

what the fk, must be the end of the world and everyone is screwed

I have never had problems before.

but then again i am in a new place i never grew before with well water, there are iron staines on everything.

I'm sick of buying things, now i have to buy water ?

i should just go knock on a door that has city water, excuse me, can I have some water, about 50 gallons. please.

I'm going to have to find a gas station in the city also.

Greenwood420 Sodium might be your problem...too much sodium in your water stunts growth and kills plants everytime. You have too much of something in your water cant say exactly what it is but it isnt good. You may have too many minerals or heavy metals interfering and the combination isnt working...who knows but your water certainly sounds like the problem here

Antigen try to find some floro tubes made specifically for growing plants if possible...they usually sell them at home depot or you can get them online. Otherwise daylight rated tubes should be just fine. I dont know a whole lot about fox farm soils I suggest giving it a shot and seeing how they do within the next few days. Those plants are large enough to be fed... that doesnt mean you overfeed them it means you feed them slowly and watch how they react to the feeding and so on (just like with any strain you figure out what they can handle and what they cant). I personally would try the fox farm give them a few days in it and go from there. Dont unknowingly flush out your soil again water them moderately.

I got pissed, ripped them and threw them out the door, dog ate them. 4 months is enough time to waste on them.
they were all sicly looking today,

I went and got distilled water to start seeds.

i got a jug of 5 gallons of primo filtered water (reverse osmoses) to water plants when i get them.

and i bought a pur 3 stage water filter that filters out bacteria ,minerals and stuff.

did a water test,with a kit

water is chock full of high doses of minerals. sodium, iron, sulfer, is also very hard water.

ph was just under 7

tested filtered water and man what an improvment,

tested primo jug water, much much better then the old tap,

but just a wee bit better then the filter water from the tap. so the filter is really doing something for the money

was woundering if thats what's making me so tired and lazy these last 5 months. i have always been a go getter, work all day everyday on the farm, i use a lot of ice in pop. just havn't been feeling 100% for months, was a slow decline. thought I was just getting lazy, but hell , if a weed wont grow in it, then it's got to be bad for ya.

it's unfiltered well water from the south carolina mountains. horse farms all over here, we have 160 and I am right next to the farm. bet it's contaminated with poop and heavy metals..

well the water test told me the metals are there.

so, i started all over again, gonna pitch the ocean farm i used yesterday and start new ones in clean stuff. thankfully i only used a bit of it.

this has been driving me nuts for 4 months.

having no weed is killing me, not to mention the money I have spent.

in florida i grew a closet full from 1 cfl to start ,and 3 4 foot white floro's. to bud and it turned out premo.

now i have the best of everything, hps, metal haylid and 14 cfl's in a bank, all blue and some red to add in later on. fan's, i mean the whole shebang and cant grow 1 plant past 3 leaves, cept for that stunted big bud.

kill them all i say, out with the sickly and get new superior blood.

i am the weed nazi.

also thought it was the seeds so i sent a email to my suplier, told him them things wont grow, is sending me 30 ak-47 fresh, just in for free.

if i finally got it fixed, i have big bud, kahuna, white widow and soon to be ak-47. on the shelves, i just started 5 white widow seeds 5 minutes before writing this.

i was so pissed, even the seeds i started would pop and then stop growing. they would get a wee bitty tail and then just sit there and then die.

watering them made them rot, not watering them dried them out and they sizzled up.

geeeze us christ this is so fken frustrating.

this has never ever ever happened to me, cant grow 1 fken seed let alone a plant.

common denominator: ran out of distilled water and used tap, slowly they turned yellow and just dried out and died or stayed lime green and pale and didnt grow.

if they grew at all.

it has to be the water.

went to the store to get filter was eyeballing peoples hoses, woundering, hmmm, maybe. ?
cant even find a gas station with city water here, it's all wells.

so it's buying water and the filter.

once they start, if they start, i will do a side by side comparison.

ocean soil, in 3 small pots.

1 bottled filtered primo water

1. water filter water

1 reg tap and see what happens.

i sure hope i got it licked, i have been in starter stage for 4 months and i'm fken pissed and bored as hell with it,.

4 fken months, of starting and dumping starting and dumping.

OK, I TRASHED EVERYTHING.
i soaked and scrubbed everything in bleach water and dawn. rinsed it real good.

noticed rust on everything, even my dogs water bowl, rust and a white scaley deposit.
used a white plastic bowl as a pot thingy to catch water on the big bud plant, same thing. rust and deposits galore.

cleaned all utensils with alcohol.

got all new pots.

guy at hydro shop said using old planters can spread a disease that bleach cant kill, it turns plants yellow and they dry up and die.

sounds familiar, they are all gone. i did use pots given to me, and..her plants dont look so good. ( not pot plants)

scrubbed all water jugs, filled with bottled primo reverse thingy water.

emptied and scrubbed all spray bottles. will fill with primo thingy water when the time comes.

put all my ferts away, dont need them for a month.

started 5 white widow in clean plastic cup with primo water., will take it from there.

put my 600 watt hps away, over kill in my space, was cooking them.

am in process of redoing the spot, hanging back up my 250 metal metal halid, have hps bulb on stand by.

put cfl's away, nice and neat will try them again later.

have 1 for heat in the little cabinet that i have the seeds in for heat. still temp flux here in south carolina, couple more weeks and it'll be spring.

cleaned everything.

dont think there is anything more i can do.

threw out all soil with miracle grow written on it.
got some generic soil in 3 bags, 3 different kinds will use to top off later if need be.

will experiment with them like the water test when i can.

if it's crap it goes,

going to redo a soil ph test on the foxfarm ocean blend.
retest ph on all 3 waters, just so i know what the crappy tap was/is.

got everything i need.

but was wondering, what do you use to lower the ph in soil, i found the lime pellets and powder but it says it raises it if it's acidic. what lowers the ph ?

damn search wont let you do a search for anything under 3 letters, how do you find ph when it's only 2 letters ?

so, I am back to square 1.

4 months and over a grand invested and not 1 plant.

but i feel good that, this is the time. i hope.

did ph test on foxfarm ocean blend soil, it was 6.5

bottled water tested at 6.5

filtered at 6.8

tap water at 7.0

think I got a good shot this time.

set up my 250 watt metal halid, cleaned everything, put in newer low watage fan.
shiny stuff all around. new thermomater and humidity

new electronic timer.

i'm all set, whish I had something to smoke, it's only been 4 months of waiting.

root your clones in rockwool, or plugs--a little rooting hormone if you want
Put a humidity dome over them, and mist em with plain ole water till they root.

dont turn it to brain surgery, KISS
