Clones were rooting fine until i covered the entire plant with DE to kill the thrips alot got in the coco also.. the stem starts to get thick like its about explode but no roots comes out after 2 weeks.. i think its cause i completly covered the plant or too much de got into the coco and is having negative effects.. i used the new growth which had no DE on it to make the cuts.. please help thanks

I like to mix the DE in water and spray in on. I can't remember the mix but maybe 1 or 2 tablespoons to a gallon. As it drys it will look a little like white mildew. That might keep it out of your coco or at least minimize it.

Do you think the de that got into the coco is wat is messing with my clones?? U think a good flush without nutes for couple days will help it make rooting cuts again??

Well when I clone I use very little light for fastest rooting
I can’t see how DE could effect rooting
Oh and I assume you forgot your old account but if not welcome to RIU :weed:
I might have had an old acct.. thnx for the input ive been cloning successfully for years this just started to happen take a look at my cut see if u think anything looks off.. those tiny roots dont ever stretch out 1000001645.jpg

It looks like it dried out at some point
I had that happen when placed in coco before
I couldn’t get them to reestablish and started fresh
One thing I did do was root them in containers with no drain holes
I’m a 100% aerocloner now
