clones

I have been reading about cloning and it says that the mother plant needs to be around 2-3 months old to cut clones from them. I guess with Auto-flowering seeds, this won't work, because the time from seed to harvest is only like 75-80 days. Does anyone have any ideas on how to clone from these plants? I would like to do some clones due to the price on seeds to grow this strain of herb.

you can clone auto's - it's just not worth it really IMO..

why don't you just get some regular auto seeds isolate the males and create more your own seeds?

i herd you cant because the clone will continue to flower and end on the same day as the one you took it from so it will be alot shorter and have smaller buds....

You can clone an MJ plant anytime there is a shoot big enough to cut off without risk to the mother. Cloning is easiest during veg when the plant has shown sex, typicaly 2-4 weeks.

You can clone autos but it doesn't do any good because like dank said, they are on the same clock as mom. The clone will flower and die on the same schedule as it's parent plant. That's what I heard. I've grown some autos but never tried cloning.

Hmmm I have one plant that is a 'semi autoflower' . She started flowering on 18/6 but then stalled until I switched to 12/12. Might try cloning her just to see.
