Hey guys, pretty much looking to acquire some clones and was Wondering where might be a good and reliable place to do so?
I'd love to pick up cali connect, cannaventure e, just some good genetics.

Even better would be obama kush, cinx, udub. I see the flowers floating around all over pdx at the clubs but don't know where to get the good cuts..

It'll take a bit of work to find a disp that sells clones, but call around, you may find you have to travel a bit as the downside of clones (from a disp standpoint) is that then you won't be donating $ for processed plants when you have your own...

I say go with seeds, so you can be somewhat sure about what you're getting.
Honestly, that's the one thing clones have over seeds. Assuming the people you buy (both) from are equally honest, with clones you know EXACTLY what you're getting (down to which phenom it is) seeds can be a bit of a crap shoot within parentage not to mention phenom. Mind you the major down side about clones are if there's anything on it (mite eggs etc) you'll infect your whole garden. I prefer seeds to start as well, but some things are only available as clones, and occasionally you can find a fantastic little girl and get a head start on the garden :)

If the people aren't honest then you haven't a clue what you have even if you're going from seeds. Heck, even if they are honest.... I still remember growing out an afghani #1 from sensi (out of 10 seeds only *1* girl) as she matured she screamed sativa. To this day I don't know what it was, but it was not an afghani #1. At the time sensi was the go to for honest seeds (not sure how they are today)...

And now talking propagation I'm all annoyed that of my 5 femmed seeds of Sannie's Jack Herer I only have one sprout so far. Thankfully the dutch passion Shaman was kinder (4 of the 5 already sprouted), so at least my garden will be well represented by purple.

Never had any problems like that with my seed bank, but I don't doubt your experience. If you are getting clones from someone you personally know whose incentive is not to sell you something then that's one thing, going to the clubs for them is totally different to me. I've never grown anything special from clone, plenty of b+ grade and the rare a-. Nothing that I have ever felt compelled to keep running. I guess I feel like with seeds there is at least a chance of getting something truly special. There is definitely a huge connivence factor with clones, it's nice to skip the boring and sometimes stressful seedling stage.
