cloning ? 12/12 grow

I have a cfl setup designed to run two at a time sadly one of my two died as a seedling i just sexed the one that lived about 4 days ago anyways i had a few questions about cloning her

1 clone now or wait for her to grt bigger
2 how much would this stress her ive been trying real hardbto keep her stres free and from turning herm
3 will she still finish at the same time just with a smaller yield? And wil they both just finish at thr same time with onr plant being much smaller than the other?

Or am i just better off starting more seeds

I would honestly start more seeds.

You're not stuck with one strain, and you don't have to stress about stressing your plants.

One month in start more beans, run perpetual and always have different smoke :cool:

What I would do...

Top her and use it as a clone (take 1-2more as well to be safe). Keep her in veg. Train her to get more tops. Throw her into flower.

Build some little cab for the clones. They don't need much, just one CFL. Get one of those plants going decently and train a bit. When the first plant looks to be a month or so from being done, pull some clones off this one, do what you will with the mother, but now you have plants started for the next grow ready to get into the tent as soon it is ready for them.

With CFL, it is easier to stick with one strain, IMHO, so that are dealing with plants that should grow similarly and thus have a more uniform canopy height.

Don't worry about stressing them so much. Ongoing abuses of environment are the main things. Topping, cloning, training won't hurt her.

In my tent right now I have a plants going with about 15 tops. She was the clone/mother I recommended you do now. Also in there are four of her babies. I am doing a some tests for the fun of it and going pretty much straight into 12-12. The mother is a few weeks ahead in the tent and flowering beautifully. The babies just got out of their veg crib (small cab) and are about 6-8"tall, now under 12-12 in the tent. I am experimenting with what happens to those if I only let them develop one main center top.

I am swimming in ganja from last harvest:-) but love the hobby so I decided to see if I can grow some monster sized buds this way. We'll see.

Thanks great advice unfirtunately right now i dont have the space for a clobe csb im working on that if i was to clone her i was going to put the clone in w the mothrr while lights on and outside during the day ( box runs at nighttime) until it wss rooted and growing new growths. Then into the 12 12 cab . Without reveging any longrr than it takes to root and begin new growth would it be a waste of time ?

Go for it, I am doing something similar with a couple cuttings I took. Basically using free light (outside during the day, in the cab with my other flowering girl at night). Even if the cuttings dont take, I will just toss a couple seeds in.

I bought a 2x1.5x2 wire rack at Walmart for $10. I wrapped it ina some mylar emergency blankets, total cost $4. Throw in a $5 mini desk fan and a couple cfls and voila.... a mother cab that can sit anywhere.
