CLoning Autoflowers FTW!

No really but I am. Ive read most everything about cloning auto's that I could find. I also agree with most of it, but I am doing it anyway, just to see for myself and because I have the time to screw around.. I made an order "mixed fems" from a seed bank awhile back and instead of sending me any usable genetics it seems they just dug into the auto bin, so I have been forced to learn about these slutty little plants. I am growing the last two out now and have also just planted some proper genetics.

I cut 5 from the lower branches of the plant on the right, one died, another one probably will, but I think at least three of these will survive a further xplant and bloom. Yesterday was the first full day under the light for them.

Will transplant them into pots this week, if nothing else they will get a little more light than they would have otherwise in their short lives. Which is ok.

Ok, planted all 4 of them and done. I was hard on these clones, I just took the cutting like nine days ago, force hardened, and planted them today. I got a peak and they all have some little roots going. Now to let some time pass so they can settle..

Put a couple in my bloom-box..

So that is pretty much the experiment. Will be interesting to see what this dull winter sky does, at least til they stink too much. ;)

I cannot, as I said, I ordered a mystery pack of feminized seeds and they sent me auto's by accident. I am actually in fact now officially wondering if this last, very last seed from them, (the one I cloned) is in an auto-flower at all. It sure as fuck isn't acting like one lately. Which would not only make this thread null and void, but would change things for me also, slightly. So for now..

Of the last two beans from that batch, one of them is certainly an auto-flower, the one I didn't clone. It poped up almost 4 days later than the one I did clone and has almost caught up in bulk and is very clearly budding. At this juncture I am uncertain if it is just a vastly different strain of auto or just a normal plant. It was certainly behaving just as every auto had until I took those cuttings..

Would the cuttings themselves have caused such a delay in growth?

Ok, so now I am guessing that she wasn't an auto-flower after-all? Because I am not 100% positive...

The Folgers coffee cutting has gone to a friend. I have no idea what he intends, last I heard it was still alive.

The two terracotta cuttings are under my bloom light now with their mother. One has really taken off...

The other seems stutterfucked or some such. If anyone wants to know, I made up stutterfucked, it's not a real word. People ask sometimes.

The last one, the one placed with my other winter plants got uprooted just as as it was getting comfortable. Something about my girlfriend moving the Christmas lights that adorn said plants.. She is now back in the ICU eating jello and calling the nurse in to smell her farts. As such..

I found this glass thing at target dirt cheap, like 2-3 bucks, today, had a mason jar on her before the photo op.

For everything in the box, minus the seedlings its bloom or bust, but I am going to keep her on Veg lighting to determine once and for all her nature, and true identity. If she does turn out to be her own thang and smokes nice I will have gained a mystery mother to drive myself and my friends crazy.

When you reference the "bloom box" where you are keeping your autos, what is the light schedule in there?

Is @ 12/12 currently, the last 4 days anyway. I don't run the HPS any more than that as my utility bill is 500/mo in the winter already. I had a couple my veg CFL's in there for a bit running @ 24 hrs to get the other auto stretched out and caught up. Now that thats done I have it back on 12/12 and the plant in questions projectiles are appearing. She must just be a regular plant. I am going to take a couple clones from the smaller bud sites once she's really going as I am just waiting for all my other seedlings to grow up. Maybe I can do a monster or two in the meantime.

I guess really someone should delete this thread since I totally failed to clone an auto flower. It's just like my mom said, now your all gonna laugh at me right?

The growth stunted clone has some new growth, I believe its starting to settle.

I have a mind, since it turned out to be a regular plant to put this smaller one back into veg next week sometime and may take more cuttings from the mom at that time.

Will likely let this thread die off and just start posting this stuff in my journal, there were no cloning of auto flowers in this thread. The one auto I do have is the closest one in the above picture and I don't even want to try it, that things seed was already budding so I know its pointless.
