cloning budsites?

I have a question...... Has anyone cloned budsites? Not the Node stems like typical but the bud it's self. I cloned one and its going crazy growing like a plant but it's all but with it's monoploid leaves. Wonder how it will well it would produce bud considering the whole plant actually is a bud.

The clone is a bud.... I cut just a bud and cloned it and it is growing into a plant (or trying to). Usually when monster cropping you cut a normal clone but it's just in flower mode. Here I cut a clone and then cut the Bud off and cloned it.

This is crazy. I assume the clone will just Veg out and resume growth like normal if it does take.
How did you clone a bud? What medium? I'd think it would just mold and decay being flower material.

I am about to take a cutting from a fully budded plant to attempt to root it, but I'm going to rip the bud off to prevent rot in the chamber.

How can you clone a bud ??? you could only clone the stem its actually growing on ? in which case the bud will just rot and decay leaving a normal clone ?

Yes, I have taken clones from a branch that had been damaged / broken. It was also on the dark side of the plant away from the light. It was a friend of mines plant and he cut it off and threw it away, so I asked if I could have it for an experiment. It was in the 5th week of flowering. I cut 4 clones from the branch each had a small bud on it, just to see if I could reverse the flowering back to vegative state. Three of them didn't make it, however, one did really well.

It did work. I took the clone on 8-23-2011 and veged it until this week on the 23rd it went into the Flowering room. It's a Pez and I don't have the stats on the plant here in my office with me right now. The plant is probably 24 inches tall, 60 cm. and very healthy.

The bud had a stem two fan leaves and a top. I cut the top for clone and the bottom part was just a short stem with two fan leaves and two bud sites. I cut the fan leaves and left just the buds. What you see in the picture is a two budsites that have vegged out hence the monoploid leaves.

ok , let me put it this way , during transformation from flower to vegative looking plant , what happened ? i am interested. clonex.

All in all the bid just decays while the clone throws out deformed groth for a few weeks then returns back to vegging normally the bud that is the clone will eventually be its first node there being useless other than its first node check out my journal just finished a run with 20 clones from this exact way hence the deformed growth for a week or 2 once rooted!!

Those "budsites" were tops of a plant to begin with, yes they were budsites but they simply reverted back into veg. The way you are explaining it is confusing, that would not happen so easily if you simply cut off a lower nug @ 6-8wks of bloom & tried to plant it.

Rawbudzski i took 20 bud sites fron lower growth not the tops and it worked but at a loss of time bit all in all it was only around a weeks diffrence bearing in mind they were taken in the 5th or 6th week of flower"!

a single budsite.. like a 1-2 inch nug cloned? what would be the point other than having tons of extra bud to clip off early

Well i lollupopped all my girls at the 2nd week of flower and threw all away then my mate told me he was going away a week before i was gonna need cuttings so a freind said he would salvage sum bud for clones for me to revert back to veg after rooting tbf i would nt have thought it would work if i neva saw it with my own eyes but it did and produced some lovely girls !! Check my journal 20 x exo cheese clones

It wasn't a top....... It was the third node down and the two buds were revegged. No leaves, just a small stem and two buds.
