So i took a clone at like 6 weeks into flower. After a month or so it has finally reveg'd and its looking all retarded as expected lol. if i wait and take a clone of the new growth will it grow normally or will it always grow retarded now it has came from a plant that deep into flowering.

heres a pic

that looks hilarious man. but ive been curious about late flower clones also. obviously its not ideal situation
and you should try and clone pre-flower but in my case i had a plant really suprise me with its color and
dankness and so i didnt realize it was a good clone candidate until it was already WELL into flower.
good luck to u

It will eventually put out normal looking growth that can be cloned and will not exhibit the odd look you see now. The one problem you may encounter later on is that you have severely stressed this plant by reveging at this late stage and clones taken from it MAY have a tendency to hermie, just keep a close eye on them. I am also going to take several clones from a Chem Dog 4 that is ready for harvest as soon as I get my Olivias cloning gel in the mail. I normally don't use a gel but I want these to take. Good Luck :)

Thats why I always keep a copy in veg if I am not sure what it is yet. You could even let it grow in the living areas like a houseplant; if you like it you just clone, root, and flower. You still have the mother. If the weed isnt up to par, chop. Simple.

It'll regenerate into a healthy vegetating plant, but it can take up to 3 months for normal sun leaves to appear again. I'm pretty sure this is how genetic drift happens ;)

I've been doing some reading on a method called "Monster Cropping". This is exactly what you have. In that process, you purposefully take clones from a flowering plant. They claim that about 3 weeks into flowering is the best result. I'm planning to do this with a few clones and grow 4 "Monster Cropped" plants, alongside 4 regular clones in my next round to see the difference. Look it up, it sounds sweet, just not sure if it works with all varieties and they say it does take a while to re-veg/root, but the results shown in some articles look like it's well worth the trouble.

Grow it out, let's see what you get, it should be a bushy plant with an incredible amount of nodes…. not a bad thing you stumbled across. And yes, they do seem to look retarded for the first while until they start re-vegging :)

i had taken clones before but lost them and i completly changed my cloning and now i get like 90%+ success compared to like 25% before. i tried aerocloners and peat pucks but the easiest thing to do is take a solo cup put some happy frog in it get some cloning powder use that stick the clone in and get a semi-clear or clear smaller solo cup and put it over the clone as a dome and you dont even have to mist it with a heating pad under it i see roots in about 1 week now. i havent lost a clone out of 40 so far so and i have cloned 4 plants late in flowering also along with normal clones.

the clone in the pic is a critical kush clone i cloned because it was frostier than the others but turned out it didnt yield as well so im just watching to see what this clone does as an experiment.

heres an update from about 2 weeks ago or so. going to let it veg for another 1.5 weeks then throw it into flower with my other clones lol. going to be interesting.

1114131829.jpg i havent topped this or anything. just naturally growing aka monster cropped i guess. i trimmed some of the lower growth after this pic.
