I'm on only my 4th try at cloning. The first two times went smoothly, but the last round and now this one... not so much. Hoping for some tips/help here...
So, I have a homemade bubble cloner. I know it works well because the first round I did I got 13/15 to root up in under 14 days. Same with the second round. But the 3rd round took 31 days to get 9/15 (some rooted in 12 to 14 days, but the rest took a really really long time). I chalked that up the strain, given the success of my previous two runs. Anyway, on this 4th run with a different strain I am at 15 days and all I see is the white nubs starting to form... so this round is setting up for 20+ days. Now I have to consider that my routine can be improved.
Bubble cloner 24" X 16" with 4 stones. 1 x 4' T5 bulb which hangs about 36' above the clones. RH 50%, ambient temp is 77F and water temp is 76-77f. Water is 50% tap water + 50% RO water. Water is not pH'd and is likely around 7.5 ish. No additves at all to the water.
Ideas?
