Cloning Gel

Fresh aloe vera is the best rooting gel.

I
Yup I agree with this. I'm growing two different kinds of aloe just to see the difference. One aloe plant isn't getting pups and I don't know why. I got away from gels because they say not for food crop use. Grow shops like to hide those labels.

More clones, roots comin out of top, day 5.

You know, just using rootech for fat stems at the base.

Feeling and 98% success rate without having to worry about bacteria in the bucket or container are two different animals. Plus I take about 300 clones a day right now. Roots on day 5-8.

Conjecture.

You shouldnt need to use Dip n Gro with Rootech, just one or the other. I liked Dip n Grow because of the results but I did not like that the difference between 1 and 2 seconds of dip could mean a super welted stem that splits or some kind of monster mutation. I used DNG at the 20x and the 15x concentrations for best results ~ 95% or better success rate. However, how long the dip was as well as strength and amount of stem roughing you have done (all can be variable depending if a cloner cares or not) has varying results. Using the Rootech I just swirl the roughed stem in the cloning gel and dip in endomycorrhizae then into the rockwool it goes. I open the hoods once a day and only mist the hoods.

As far as opinions, I am giving them not asking for them. What you waste time typing on my threads is up to you. I pay attention to useful information and disseminate information from my experience to you. Being that I work in the Colorado Cannabis industry and have lots of production experience, I am giving you my opinions based upon working with more than 3000 pounds of production. 160+ acres of Commercial Hemp and more 1400-3600 plants PER OPC on a 2 week to 6 week harvest schedule depending on site. Willow bark tea works great, but probably impossible to use on a production level. Growing in your closet, basement, garden, greenhouse, field, or warehouse require different measures.

As with everything, TRUST BUT VERIFY. If you come to Colorado, you just might be able to tour my facilities. Can you say the same about yours?
I like your grow man.

Thanks. Traditionally I have used Clonex for indoor grows but then I started fooling around with laboratory grade NAA and IBA for my clones. After finding lab chemicals for work I used that for a long time until we used the Dip N Gro for the hemp run. I wasn't happy with the consistency of DNG but I did like that it only took about 5 days to root, it was cheap, I did not have to mix components, blah blah blah.

I have had terrible results in the past with Willow Bark tea. For a while I was really praising the virtues of organics until I started doing commercial production. Honey seems like a good bet but then again it is expensive and doesnt have any plant hormones. I prefer the gel over just the liquid dip because when I roll it around in the endos I know that it is going to "stick" in that general area. With rockwool it seems like any liquid hormones would be wicked or washed away. That probably is not the case for growing in soil. Maybe I just got a little over excited because I am having such success.

I was unaware there are ingredients in these gels that get them labeled for non food use; that warrants further inspection on my part.

I'm a bubbler too, but prefer 'air layering' its gotta be the lazest technique ever ...lol

not used clonex or the commercial shit for decades,

if you want an 'real' orgasm try household honey in time

you will note that the M_Fungi react quicker and its antiseptic

good luck

or is this another 'concealed' spam post..?
Why would air layering be easier? We did that before we knew about cloning methods of the future lol. I found it a pain in the ass unless out in the field.

Cool looking room. You must be desperate for attention. 100,000 clones? not in 5 years. even in that room.

Glad you are still a fan of Cloning gel.

Amazing how you can detect shit from the other end of the solar system

word has it has something to do with pheromones

great to see you off that lofty chair in T&T

I hope you stick around

1: sit in you favorite chair, joint in right hand, plant between legs

2: toke, then lower joint to ash tray, raise pot to your lap

3: with finger nail scrape away 2 inches of bark at your target

4: grab a handful of potting mix, smear over bark wound

5: wrap in a damp kitchen towel, damping every 2 days

(10 DAYS LATER)

6: gently remove bandage to see root at about 1.5-2 inches

7: snip of the branch and pot up

Now how easy is that, cloning between puffs on a 'J'

or you can be like the self protecting jerk here do 54 cuts,

every day for 5 years non stop,, claim this an that,

but still be totally ignorant of the bio chemical makeup of basic honey

as any hort student would be aware of from month 6 of a 3 year course..?

go figure

Do you prefer rock wool cubes over peat based cubes? I used to use rock wool for cuts and seeds, then I grabbed an aero cloner and used that for years, and now I'm back to cubes/dome. I'm using root riot cubes, and I'd say I'm getting about 75% of my cuts to root. I'd like to improve upon that number.

I'm in soil btw

Im using rockwool now to much success but I still prefer plug like Root Riot. NOT the bulk plugs available from Hydrofarm tho, they look like they are bulk root riots but they are round plugs made from some terrible material. I do not like those. They seem way better for popping seeds, marginally better for clones. However, we have tons of rockwool so thats what we shall use here.

I use root riot cubes for all my home stuff. The problem i have had with aero cloner is that it is great for success until it gets any type of bad bacteria then no matter how much you clean it is always funky. =/

Ok :(. Just trying to understand the rules and be a good RIU'r :).
By now Bud you must have seen many unsupported threads here in RIU

posted by new members with a seriously deceptive reason for signing up in the first place

tho later many did/do sign up as sponsors, and are hopefully contained in one part of this site ..lol

but many young capitalists forget the rules, like getting a tax loss out of all their advert campaigns

good luck
