Cloning Question

Hey guys, first post here. Been lurking for a while now though, lol.
Anyways, I went out to Lowe's today and looked around for some cloning powder.
I came across this "Stim-Root NO.1" rooting powder.
There were 3 levels of powder,
1: Softwood
2: Semi-Hardwood
3: Hardwood
I was just wondering if this was the right stuff?
I have already cut 4 trimming and set everything up today.
Just wondering if I'm using the right stuff, or need other stuff like NO.3 or something.

Thanks in advance!

um, dunno. you can get schultz rooting powder from wal-mart and it works. best thing for me since i use a sprayer setup is clonex solution. i just cut, put the stalk in neoprene in a net cup and im done. im also about to try an experiment. i noticed that if i let the clones grow a bit in the sprayer, the root mass is huge compared to if i put them in reg nutes. im gonna try adding a bit of solution to one of my res and see the results.. i know it cant hurt them, im just curious if the hormones will make more roots form than normal.

Thanks for the help! I did buy another brand that is Gel. But Ive been hearing that the powder works the best. The clones are in a dome and today they look good. They are not droopy at all.?

i got mine for free at the hydro shop. they give out samples. my clones looked great for 5 or 6 days and then they keeled over and died.

Yeah I mist them atleast once a day. And another question, the cuttings I took it from are from one of my plants that is about a week into flowering... The cuttings don't have any bud starting at all. But I know its a female. Is that okay to do? ... Im sick of males and having to drive an hour away for seeds!!

Do you use cloning powder? I hear it works almost everytime. So far all my clones are looking excellent! Guess I got the right stuff. I'm excited.
