Cloning short-rider autoflower .

I have 1 short rider its 27 days old and didnt start to flower yet , and i was thinking about making a clone of it , isit possible ? Will it make any difference on the plant im taking the clone from ? people say its no possible to take clones from autoflower strains but i have no idea :S . thanks

I've never heard of it being possible... Never tried it though. If you can do it, you're a miracle worker.

i have some short rider's going right now, and they are anything but short.
they have been alive for almost 4 months now.... and no signs of flowering.
i might try this,
i know if i had taken a clone 3 months ago it would have had plenty of time to root and start growing.
i dont see why it "wouldnt" want to root, it has lots of time to grow still.
hell, i might nab a few clones now, just for shits.
the plants are over well over 2 ft in 5gal buckets, single stalked, i didnt think i would have time to top when they were babies but i now wish i did.
im gonna have a little talk with Nirvana..... try and get a replacement pack. see if i got a bad batch.

I suppose if you catch it early enough in life, then it's possible. The reason most everyone says it can't be done is the fact that autos flower well, automatically. Photoperiod doesn't have a bearing on it going from veg to flower.

you can clone ruderalis (auto flowering) plants. But what you have to take into consideration is auto flowers start flowering as soon as they sprout. So your clones won't get very big. It's better to just get a lot of seeds and grow them out.

You are spinning your wheels. You can clone an auto, however the clone will finish the same time as the plant you took it from. It is not going to make a new plant. So, what is the point?

Yes it can be done, but you lose yield and stall growth. It flowers based on age not light, so the clone would flower at the same time as the mother anyway.
