Cloning technics

yea iv only done soil cloneing up to this point, figured if its not broken dont fix it lol
but hell yea i wud really appreciate a few tips bro =]

well i grow soil and hydro at the moment. im sticking with soil untill i get a few harvests and are comfortable with hydro skills lol
i think im going to be cloning the soil plants in soil, and 8 clones in rockwool for the hydro.
kinda a pain in the ass doing both, but its worth it to not have to clean all tht stuff out of the res and trofts ya know.

That's why I use COCO brother! Its one of the best ways to grow hydro.

Well I started a trail run on some hill side seedlings I found from some bubble hash waste. I bought a 4 foot 4 bulb T5 light, dip n grow, and no wilt from my hydro store but not a dome. The hydro guy said that if I had a RH of 30 to 40% it would work. I put a humidifier in the room to raise the RH to 50% just in case. The temps at 80 to 85 with the flo's! I didn't know they ran that hot. I'm gunna have to hook my ventilation system up and get a dome to keep humidity up. It's been about 4 days since I made the cut and sprayed them with no wilt. I've been misting once a day cause that's all I can. I've also tried to clone a Red Dragon branch that broke off and I took a cut from my Super Lemon Haze for sexng purposes. So far they all look good a little bit of yellowing is starting on the bottom leafs though. Is it the plant trying to make roots? And dose cutting the leafs in half really help with root growth? I'll try to post pics later.

Hey geek,

How many days since you cut them? Clones will often display signs of Nitrogen deficiency in the late stage of trying to get roots but they dont have them yet. This doesn't happen all of the time but it does happen. Deff post some pics and let me know how long ago you cut them.

Well tell use what ur doing? I just followed what eveyone in this thread said and it worked for me. I've probably took 60 or 70 clones all with a 100% succsess so far. All I did was snip dip and stick. I used some cheap liquid cloning stuff and a dome. Humidity is the key. I cut at a angle then shave off the bottem 1/2 inch of skin. Dip into cloning shit and into party cups of soil. Then under a dome. You must spray them with a mist of water at least once a day to keep humidity up. You should also have a heating mat or have temps around 80/85 degrees with ur humidity around 80%. Cuts also don't like intense light so some fluorescent would be ideal. If u stick close to these guide lines u should have clones with healthy root systems withen a week or two.

i use clonex for the first time with a fogger in a bucket and a dome and it was 100% succses. i tryed two times before and didnt get any thing. this time i sprayed them 2 times a day and used a small t5 from wal fart about to start a new batch

hey guys just cut my first clone today used shultz takeroot powder and have a created a dome of my own to put them in. what do you guys put them on for a light cycle???? I just took mine off a plant going into floweringg,

I'm not to sure about revegging a cut but I always run 18 on 6 off for veg cuts.

It comes with the grow tray, pellets to grow in, and a plastic sheet to cover. All I did was take 2 metal clothes hangers and bent them to create a hood and then used plastic wrap to keep them sealed. Plus the rooting hormone. See attached pics. I fully agree with the snip, dip, and stick metthod. All you have to do is keep it simple. I have yet to loose a clone (knock on wood).. I grow in soil by the way.
