Cloning White Widow

I'm buying 3 White Widow clones and I will be growing them for I'd say about a month. How many viable clones will I be able to snag from each one?

I know it's a bit vague but I am trying to plan accordingly for my SOG. My buddy says he wants to grow around 60 in a cat litter and have several cat litters. Does this make sense? well it doesn't to me but he seemed sure

theres so many variables to how many clones you would be able to pull off of each one month old plant..... it depends in your lighting, environment, and your horticultural skills.

the only way you will be able to tell is by doing it yourself because if your a noob, most likely you will encounter many problems along the way.

That's why I said it was vague, because i know it really depends. But if you were to do it how many do you think you would get? speaking optimally.

Excuse me? Take a toke or something and think things out. or maybe you just had a toke and that's the problem . anyways, maybe i just don't understand you. They would be female plants, that's why I would buy clones in the first place?, and I would grow them for about a month. How many clones could I take from each clone that I previously bought, after 1 month of growing each individual clone. And each clone would be female. That's 1 month of growing from 3 clones.

its hard to say optimally, but a ball park guess would be 25 from each. so maybe 75 total if your good....

Ya i was hoping to get around 20 clones each. I think my buddy was a bit crazy saying 60 per kitty litter haha. I was thinking more like 12 or so but eh? we'll find out wont we

yep... sorry again, i'am trying to help people on here and sometime i read, or mis read the situation... anyways GL, still don't understand why your gonna use kitty litter but to each his own i guess.

i pulled 15 clones from my plants, they were hindu kush and 12 inches tall, about a month from when i picked them up. i could have pulled more but i wanted more bud to flower.

Ya the kitty litter thing was his idea. I think he got it from this site Marijuana Sea of Green Method - Concept420 - Marijuana Entertainment and Information but it says for a 12' by 5' shelf to have kitty litters on there and grow 60 plants, 60 plants per shelf not litter makes more sense to me.

That link all they are talking about is using the kitty litter pans you know the things you put the litter in... i guess those would work for good cheap grow tables, kinda small though, why not invest in a 4'x4 grow table or something along those lines?

If you dont mind me asking what kinda of light source are you gonna be using...?

Cause if you got a nice HID light, i would personally go with a big 4x4 table or something cause your gonna have a bunch of these kitty litter pans, just more up keep in my eyes...

I hope by cat litter, you mean the cat litter trays and not what goes in the trays!

Anyway Okay Dude there's a couple of things you would need to do for my estimate to be anywhere near close...

First - LST them as soon as you get them - say this will take up the first 2 weeks, just training them... International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums - LST training in detail. Why bushes are better

Third - Start cloning after the new shoot have come in, you should get no less than 5-7 clones per plant; possibly more, but you are new at it... https://www.rollitup.org/newbie-central/64369-cloning-cannabis-how.html

Fourth - Keep the donors as mother plants and you will be able to take clones every 2-4 weeks from each of them...

Growing white widow is my thing and if you follow these steps, you'll be smoking your own in about 3-4 months. This might actually take 5/6 weeks in total, but hey it is what it is... lol

EDIT: Don't try to take every growing tip the first time around... you will thank me in the end!

i don't think you'll get anywhere near 25 off of each plant. not at a month. if you cut all your viable clone spots you'll have to wait a few weeks for itt to reveg bfore you flower. best bet is pick the biggest prettiest one at a month and use it as a momma. you can take a few from the other 2 also, reveg and flower them. then you'll have a buncha clones workin, 2 in the oven and a momma to keep the strain alive. you can get a bunch off the mother plant cause you're gonna reveg anyway. somewhere around 20 i'd say and that may be high.

haha that cracked me up, ya i meant the tray. I'm really focusing on my outdoor grow but my cousin wants to do an indoor so i said 'hey sounds good to me' . So I haven't invested any money on indoors growing items. I;m thinking because I don't have much money for the indoor grow I want to keep it as affordable as possible. So to answer your question 420. I don't have any lighting yet. I'm considering buying several 2 foot long T5's (those flourescents right?) and hanging them in my crawl space. The space is somwhat short and narrow, haha, I can give a pic if you want incase you guys have any suggestions as to what method/items i should use to achieve the largest crop.

If you do get T5's make sure your get T5 HO (high output), there much better than normal T5's

do you think one t5 would be enough to start 30 seeds for several weeks?
