So I bought some Haze online and want to make the 5 fem. seeds coming my way to be worth the buck. I want to grow one or two and then clone them to keep a steady supply growing and budding.

But heres my question can a clone only grow 1 bud and thats it? I havent heard much about this talked about in any guides.
Id like to have a plant that can grow multiple buds and be cloned to do the same.

How would I clone one to make it act as a mother plant?

If that is impossible how can I keep my mother plant alive indefinitely?

Yes, germinate your mother, keep her under a T5. After 6-8 Weeks you can take cuttings from her, she'll live as long as you give her water light and air. My mom stays under my T5 and provides me with as many I want at any given time.

In the cloning guides I have read, with the finished results, it ends up being 1 stem with a bud on the top.

I havent seen one that results in a second "Mother" plant

Your talking 12/12 straight from clone, hes asking how to keep a mother alive.... I think.?

Clones can have more than one bud site, LOL
Heres mine 20 days into flower

I purchased these clones mid september with barely any roots..

Sorry its a bit of two questions haha.
1. Will a clone ever be large enough to harvest multiple buds and clone, itself?
2. If i keep my mother watered and lit she will stay alive?

In fact clones are faster growing.
Ever heard Grand Daddy Purps?
Clone only strain, cali growers share cuttings all the time and very successful. In my mind more efficient

And would I need to regularly harvest the mother to keep her healthy? Ive read take off the top 1/3 buds then wait till she starts to recover (4 weeks?) then harvest the bottom ones?

Also do you know of any guides on trimming or pruning? What exactly is the difference

NO, you never harvest your mom. EVER!! NEVER!! EVER! Keep topping her and take cuttings from the bottom is what I do. Once placed in flower takes waaaayy tooo long to come back to vegetative state and sometimes problems arise. Your mom stays under 18 to 24 hours of light eveyday no matter what..

I've never cloned so I ask questions? Doesn't mean I cant know what is wrong with a plant or at least give broad advice to get them going. Not that I saw you posting in any of them offering help
