So I have a nice looking femlae from bagseed growing its 7 weeks old and 1 week into flowering So Im wondering can i clone this plant and If the mother plant dies will I be able to clone the clone of the mother plant?

also if I cant clone a clone and if you can only clone a mother plant after my mother plant buds and harvest will it die or can I keep it alive by keeping light on it so I can continue to clone it?

If it's only a week into flowering it will be fine to take a clone, just make sure to do it soon. You can also clone a clone.

You could trim all the buds off the plant after harvest, but leave some foliage on it. Then put it back into 24 hours of light so it can veg, and repeat.

Have you done this? Most people say re-veg is a waste of time, nutes, and money.

I have not, because I agree it's a waste. It would make much more sense to just take clones from a dedicated mom. I would only do the above scenario if i didn't have access to clones.

You generally want to take your cuttings with the plant in veg. When induced into blooming, think that this clone will want to bloom too. Reversing into veg takes time and is often unsuccessful. Maybe you can still do it since you are only one week into flowering but I would not expect many results since the plant is focusing now on making flowers. You CAN clone from clones, I have been doing it successfully for almost two years with a ww. You have two options, keep a mother plant or several with 18/6 or 24/24 and take cuttings from her or ... take cuttings from the plants you are about to flip. Do not take cuttings if the plant is in flowering. You will see that once the plant is at harvest, there is not much to save, once it buds it is over unless you grow outdoor.
