a 400w light wont raise the bill that much at all. i think you are supposed to do a 20/4 light cycle for the autoflowering strains so it will be more energy than a normal 600w at 12/12 but shouldnt be that noticeable. definitely not to the electric company, probably not to mom and dad. then again you have to add in fans and whatever else you got going on. so try your best to conserve energy everywhere else. and the digital ballasts are worth getting too. they use less energy and preserve the bulb and are practically silent. what reflector are you going to get?

through htgsupply.com they have an air cooled reflector with a 600w digital ballast for 250 shipped. the 400w setup is 20 less. its worth the money cuz you will get a lot of light to those plants being air cooled and all. and as i said the digital ballast will do a lot of good all around, and wont be obsolete within the year, which is always good. its like 100 more than the setup you were looking at but its like 5 times better. worth checking out for sure
