Growing OG Kush and 60 Day Lemon Auto.
This is my first time growing, I've decided to try DWC.
I have two 5 gallon buckets.
(7) 23W CFLs (18/6)
Small fan
Using Technaflora Recipe for Success Nutrients
PH is at 6.1

Gonna use my CFL for Veg and my 150W HPS for Flower

All suggestions and advice is welcome, I could use it as a first time grower.

Update:

OG Kush (19 days from seed): looking a bit droopy today.
So I cleaned out the bucket, put some fresh ph'd water (6.1) and fresh nutes.
Only solution I have because of my inexperience haha, all advice would help!

60 Day Lemon (12 days from seed): Growing great, can't wait to see her all grown.

Great to see a new grower jump right into hydro, How close is the water in each bucket to the bottom of the net pots ? you dont want it to be any closer than 1.5'' sometimes even 2'' if your air stone is bubbling enough & spraying the bottom of the net pot with bursting bubbles. If its any closer you will drown your babies keeping the water away makes the roots grow for it. You've chosen the best form of growing in my opinion, Also get a PPM meter & PH meter ASAP you want to know exactly what your plants are absorbing at all times. I run an advanced DWC system called under current you should check it out. I will try to help more once you answer the question I asked.

I actually had it touching the net pot! I didn't know that.
I just switched it though..and it is about an 1.5" away.

I have a PH meter and I will purchase a PPM meter once I can afford it..

My tent is 4 feet in height, how long should I let them grow before I put them in the flowering stage??

My Carbon Filter, Inline Fan and Duct Muffler taking up WAY to much space, I could have literally had another plant

I have this weird feeling the carbon filter isn't gonna work, and I can't really let the smell be obvious..

Help?!
