While reading and learning and scraping for the resources for my first grow, I ultimately came up with this:
1) Xen Lux grow tent (it's not Gorilla, but sounds decent with steel poles and corners, and was $142 for 5x5)
2) 4' Grow Crew T5s, one 8 bulb fixture and one 4 bulb fixture, from Growers House (great prices)
3) Smart Pots and Gro Pro pots, plus various testers and timers and temp/humidity monitor.
This'll be the veg tent; I'll buy another when it's closer to transfer time, with a 1000W dimmable hps.
I'll be getting coco, seedling dome, nutes and any miscellany at a local hydro store. The tent and Bomb seeds 'Cherry Bomb' should be in transit.
The main expense left is the ventilation and that's the principal question i have left. I see a lot of inline fans much cheaper than the ones the hydro stores offer (which run $150+). I know, for the small area I have, a 4" fan would likely be perfect, without major impact to the tent walls. I know that the veg tent probably doesn't need a carbon filter (the flower tent will). And I know I can dampen some fan sound by proper placement and insulating the ducts.
So what's a good reliable, quiet fan that i can get at a reasonable cost? I know Vortex. any others?
