Cloudy trichomes Week 3

Whats up rollitup?

As the title says.. pretty much all the trichomes are cloudy and have been like that for over a week. Right now: 3weeks 1day since the first group of pistils. 4 weeks and a couple days from when it was taken from 24hour light.(So they were cloudy only TWO weeks after the buds started forming)

Add a couple weeks onto that for rooting(clone) and thats it's entire life. Not even 8 weeks(veg included) and it's already mostly cloudy. It's hard for me to say if the clear ones are new trichomes or old ones. Lots of the clear ones appear larger.

Also the hairs are slightly starting to turn color & a few swollen calyx's. Is it possible it got tripped into maturing early?

Do some stains grow multiple generations of trichomes? If so, will the cloudy ones be eventually outnumbered by new clear ones? Do all strains start out clear?


-Blueberry kush bagseed clone - but no sisters to compare to
-aprox 1 foot or less - LST'd
-Only under 65W of CFL - 42W 6500K & 23W 2700K
-Faford all-purpose soil
-Advanced nutrients sensi bloom & Crosby's "fancy" molasses.

cool i wouldnt trip. some get cloudy early. most do grow multiple "generations" of trichomes. as long as they are not degrading or losing their "heads" or growing stalks with tiny heads you are good

Time to harvest then. better rip it out now.

So its only been 4-5 weeks since you started to flower? Something isnt right. Got any pics

We need some pictures if we are going to help you figure this out.

Are you looking with a magnification toolof some sort?

He's looking at pisils ...not trichomes

cloudy trichs only mean a slowing in production not that a strain is ready for harvest. its like when it stops getting pumped in it "cools" and goes cloudy. I would wait till you see a good bit of amber ones(not allot but more than a few)

I'm using a 100X microscope. Watching the pistils/hairs as well as the trichomes because they seem to be changing color slightly now too.


^^Lots of hairs on that calyx & swollen seed size. Hairs are still white though so, I don't think it's pollinated. Probably just wants to be real bad.

i would say you got a couple weeks yet ,too many white hairs still .look at 1 of mine 15 to 25 days to go i would think on mine!budding 8 weeks tomorrow---from first hairs a week earlier.90 day --auto---at 75 today i think!!
