Afghani strains can be very good as far as yield goes strength is there too they're just a bit bland very good for breeding with to increase yield.

3 DOG Kush x Casey Jones are done swimming and are wrapped up in a nice warm paper towel. I''l give them a couple of days and then take a peek.

Hey Westy I don't dare ask D this, but whats the story behind the bastard cross. I read through a lot last night but I don't think I really came up with the answer.

Smoking some fine hash and chillen a bit before I go give the new clones some love. Oh and D, you know I'm kidding and I love ya brother :)

i know im not offically a 600. but this was my first time collecting pollen and it worked pretty well for me.

i used 2 cups 1 with a hole just big enough for the main stem. the other with a little water in the bottom. topped the male(so i still have him in veg) trimmed some fan leaves off stuck him through the hole into the water. at first i was using the top that came with the cup but condensation was building up so i started using my humididome.

This answer is in the form of a question. With a male, couldn't you take individual branches, snip them, hang them inside of a bag and just let the pollen fall to the bottom if all you are after is the pollen and not save the male? A little tip I read somewhere, add a bit or rice to your pollen, it attracts any moisture and then put it in the freezer. Moisture to my understand is a pollen killer.

Im not 100% but im guessing there was a dog kush spluff up a casey skirt. Someone need to quiz the rasta fairy

Actually the DOG didn't really exist when those seeds came around.

Initally I thought they were crossed from the Headband I used to make the DOG. However on a recent run of Casey Jones I found a very small unopened Male flower inside one of the buds. Sometimes with the clone only strains (invariably they all have some form of herm trait) when you think you have got the balls of them you can open a bud and find a male hair inside. Normally you will also get a seed or two.
Well reports from the Grey Area (who hold this strain) are that there are occassional seeds are found so at the moment there are two possibilities. It's an S1, or it's an HB that has contaminated the Casey. either way it should be some kill.

And on the subject of flour...you can also add a bit of flour to your pollen to make it spread easier.....just mix well.

very good info on that.
I tried pollinanting a couple buds on my girls dont know if it took yet but its been about a week so hopefully i see some signs soon.If nothing ill het her again with some more pollen and this time add some flour to the mix hopefully that will do the trick..

ok guys im hoepless at remembering the genetic lineage of these strains especially now their getting incestuous!! can we have a 600 strain lineage thread purely and solely for what everyones crossing and perhaps a pic/write up. otherwise i think were all going to end up asking over and over.

A good way to tell if it took, look closely at the buds you painted, if you notice, the pistils will start to turn orange and shrivel, pollination successful.

Any pics of the finished product? I want to take a peak at the seeds but I'll wait untill tomorrow...soaked them in a coffee cup for a day and then 2 days in paper towels.

I believe this is what happened to my bagseed bitch that I left in with the Jackhammers. She's not near as nice as her mom or grannie, in size and looks anyway, but she's more pungent and sticky I think. I'll try to get a shot up today, shes day 43 of 12/12 and all her pistils are doing just that.
