Ahh, I got a nice lol first thing in the morning today. Good stuff...

Personally I'd like to think along the same lines as Willy with the THC and strawberries but nuffairyarse is funnier.

So back to breeding. Well since my Romulan Timewarp has da's the size eh melons, it was decided that an equally as healthy and horny young male with sacs like a Belgian Blue would have it's juzz helped along by the fairy and ended up, can you believe it, blowing right into my cab and onto (luckily enough) some lowers buds!! yah!! thank you fairy farts, you da best. Anyhoo, here's a wee shot of one of the buds in question.........

And here is the main bud from the Rom Timwarp...Was fed again today and I think I'll keep it running a while. Whatever happens the pollinated bud will be left to grow until the seeds are mature enough.

Peace,

Emergency sacs, hehe. Even my misses went, "My god look at that", when she saw the Romulan Timewarp pic...(I aint heard her say that in a long time, hahaha, j/k) It looks like it is going to go a bit longer so looking forward to some further swellage.

yeah i keep saying to my self ill take some pics of the engineers dream and deep psycho and maybe some showing of seeds earlyish tho, 12 week scan stage lol. brb

got a question for you guys, if i cross a top 69 autoflower with a bagseed (looks indica), will i get autoflower seeds?

i have heard 2 things, no matter how much ruderalis is in a plant it will always autoflower

and 2 that ruderalis is like any other genetic and plants do not always autoflower

so i just wanted to know the truth on this, and also the male bagseed started showing preflowers in 21 days of veg under 125w cfl, is this also an autoflower strain?

id say urll get a percentage of auto seeds and a percentage 12/12 photoperiod seeds

so here are the deep psychos and engineers dream at 4 weeks 12.

I suppose it depends on how complicated you want to get into it, i think the simplest i can put it is,
In an F1 cross the dominant trait (or allele)within the 10 pairs of chromosomes relating to a plant make up will always show the dominant allele, which masks the recessive allele or trait. When you then start to create F2's (brother and sister plants making out) you find that both recessive and dominant traits will show through in the plant. Since the amount of documented testing on the plant that we have access to is fairly limited then as someone who is not a qualified scientist I would say that Photoperiod is one of those traits that are prevelant in a plant.

So it really depends on what generation of plant that is being discussed. There will always be a % of plants that are not effected by the photoperiod after you cross two of the F1 seeds (25% is a number thrown around) Further to that you are selecting plants for traits and subsequent breeding will provide dominant traits over recessive traits and the story goes on.

So if you have crossed an Ruderalis with a Normal indica in the initial F1's I would say that they would probably all be Photo light sensetive since this is a dominant trait in a ruderalis. However, what you also have to take into account is that your autoflower is a ruderalis that has been crossed with an indica or sativa (whatever, not sure what strain you have) So withouth knowing the exact genetic makeup of the seed stock that the breeder is selling, it would be difficult to be 100% accurate in a prognosis.

Hope that confuses you more, sorry. DST

BOOOOOOM. so youre saying that ruderalis is recessive or dominant? and also does anyone know which is more dominant sativa or indica?

and also my autoflower is ruderalis/indica/sativa but im guessing its 50% ruderalis, 25 indica and 25 sativa, now if i breed it to 50% ruderalis and 50% indica, ill have 12.5% sativa, 32.5% indica and 55% ruderalis?

so my real question is what genes are recessive and dominant?
