Its still early days yet as I've only just started on 07/10/2011... But will show the whole build/grow on my thread, Please pop by and check out my work so far etc.. can I ask? .. Did you hack a 'Security-Light' for the ballast or were you able to get a propper 70W external ballast ??
I hope to see some more peeps showing off their 70W 'Hobby-Grow's' and share some more info on this fairly untouched light source
Could you give me a LINK to the Electrical Shop you got them from if they are on-line ?? Do you know if the ballasts your using are Magnetic or Digital ? and is it necessary to have 2 separate ballast to fire up both MH & HPS lamps? sorry for all the questions
