Club soda

ok i have heard many time that you can use club soda for a resource of carbondioxide? i'm not really a newb at growing this is prob my 4th year growing but its my first time trying carbonated water, maybe i'm wrong but i was wondering has anyone had good results with this technique. I found that it left a residue on the leafs of my plants witch didn't seem to effect them but it really bothed me so i quit using the soda water and now just using water to clean up my plants.
what do you think?

hmmm... interesting one. I would imagine the carbonated water would help oxidize the roots quicker making for a healthier (larger) plant. Just make sure you're using pure carbonated and not something loaded with sugars. Keep me posted on your results I'm definetly interested to see how it makes out through the whole process.

Don't water with club soda or seltzer (club soda has salt in it, seltzer is salt free). The CO2 in either is bad for the roots. Your plant's roots need oxygen (O2). You could mist the leaves with seltzer but I am unsure of its effectiveness

My plants are perfectly fine and I use carbonated water.
But Lemon Seltzer is the best to use.
