Co2 and how high do you get your ppm's ?

Ok I went all out and picked up a co2 system by hydro innovations the hydrogen pro with heat cap heat scrubber. The one problem was there monitor sucks so I picked up a better one that goes as high as 5000 ppm. Anyways. My question is can I go that high ? Do I have to stay below 1500 ppm's or is that the standard? Because my garage where I have grow is already around there without it on ? Can't I just add more than close all vent fans?

cannabis plants can use 5x the CO2 the atmosphere provides... so go nuts!

ya they can take what ever u dish out, it just depends how much c02 you are willing to use

I'll up it then tonight to 2000 ppm's then again to 3000 the next day? And so on. I just don't want to hurt them you know

Studies show that the optimal amount of co2 for a plant is 1500PPM. Anything higher then 1500PPM is a waste. 3000+ PPM could potentially be harmful to you as a person. I have heard of people running their room at 5000PPM for a short period of time to kill off bugs with no adverse effects but the people I've heard of doing this have only done it for 24-48 hours.

Boozer is spot on here. I keep mine between 1100-1250. And if you weren't water cooled too, that would be another argument for heat. And even though you're cooled; water vapor will still be a byproduct of burning gas. Just keep that in mind. Edit: Also co2 poisoning/toxicity is pretty high for humans, carbon monoxide is what you should worry about. Keep your gen burning clean blue flames.

Ok so 1500 ppm's will make it so at 80 deg the plant thinks it's 70 in there. And all I need is 1500 ppm's unless I end up with bugs. That's when they get some extra. Cool. Shouldn't need that since I'm very clean.
