i bought a c.a.p. c02 sensor and have found out way more about c02. it cost me about $350, but it really gives you an instant display of the C02 ppm in real time. it is super sensitive too. unreal how you just slightly breathe towards the meter and watch it slowly rise. i highly recommend checking one out
CO2 Monitor Complete w/ PPM Sensor - Worm's Way

first off, i have it inside a dark room 80 tent. the room that the dr 80 measures about 10x12. tent exhausts/scrubs directly into that same room. and this is what i have learned...

if you set your light schedule to come on while you sleep, and off when you aren't in the room, you DO NOT need a C02 system to help your plants. my PPM inside my tent would be around 1200 ppm when i woke up, and they would stay steady around 700-800 ppm when i wasn't in the room. so no reason to use C02 if you just switch your schedule.

i learned some more but i just smoked some sticky shit and i forget :weed:

Thats kinda narrow. Maybe not all sleep with their plants.
Pop the meter in your room as you sleep and see what the room is when you awake. (and better yet log it every 1/2 hour)

I use a G.E. meter (closed loop) and found rather different, if not contradictory, results.

Why would the ppm rise in a sealed room with lights out in the next room?
Even in my full house (live alone, 1500sq feet) my indoor ppm hovers around 700, any room.

hehe, i am high but here goes...

i have a 32"x32" tent in a 12x10 room. the tent exhausts into the room outside of it (the 12 x 10 room)

if i keep the (10 x 12) room sealed from the outside air then the C02 level stays usually above 700-800 inside the tent.

so if i am breathing (while sleeping in the room) it raises the Co2 almost (usually 1200) to optimal range just by me sleeping. it is almost too good to be true, but a definate plus if you can make it work for you too

my sh*t is going to be in a fridge so i dont think i could breath in it while i sleep. lol but thank you for the advice. plus i cant have it anywhere near where it could get CO2 so i need real numbers for a hard core sealed container that will vent maybe twice to three times a day.
