There are threads out there where people have set up a monitor in their room and done the sugar/yeast thing. It really doesn't add enough c02 to be beneficial. I mean every little bit helps I guess. But definitely not enough for there to be a visible difference in growth or yield when compared to ambient air. A guy on youtube who typically runs a bottled c02 setup w/ monitors etc just recently did a test with the boost buckets, he tested the amounts they generated and said they were worthless as well. If it really worked I wouldn't try to steer you away from it, but truly it is just a waste of time. It may work if you did the fermentation on a very large scale depending on the size of your grow space. But it wouldn't exactly be practical at that point either. More than likely the better growth you are seeing is due to your growing methods improving as i am guessing you are a newer grower who is still perfecting his technique based on the fact you are trying to supplement c02 w/ fermentation.I beg to differ! It depends on the size of your grow. There is nothing wrong with using sugar and yeast for a cab grow. In an area that doesn't see much "fresh air" the added benefits are easy to see! Now for a grow room, it's impractical because of the space you're trying to fill with c02. But I've personally seen the difference with and without the addition of c02 and it definitely is not a waste of my time! I bet my girls would disagree with you too!
