CO2 w/ Organics?!

For what its worth and its not much c02 but i used the 2 liter bottle sugar and yiest for cuttings even made baking soda and vinegar for small cuttings and it appeared to work a little any addition of c02 to a grow will help
some ..
either way you look at it there is no cutting corners when going c02 the best bang is a brain something that will sense how much c02 to disperse when to shut off and when to vent room as to being able to enter safely
so with that said first investment i anyone is looking to eventually add c02 or other items is a environment controller
A one hit wonder and best investment any grower will purchase

So is using co2 effective while growing no till? I'm starting to grow no till with my next cycle my current cycle I'm going to re amend and use for my no till. I'm asking this cuz I live Alaska and it's about 5f degrees outside and I'm growing in a unslulated shed I'm using a 1000w HPS and a space heater it comes up to optimum temp whens it's a little warmer outside but since it's so cold out right now it's gets to around 62-65 which is to cold for my liking. I was thinking of maybe getting a co2 generator for help with the heat and the use of co2 since I don't have any fresh air coming in since it's so cold outside. Would I have to re amend the soil more or top dress more since co2 makes faster growth and bigger yields? Do any of you guys run it with lights off? My temps get around 40-45 with lights off and a space heater I'm trying to figure out how to heat it effectively with lights off too. I'll be posting in the grow room thread too. Thanks in advance.

Yeah, I ran a propane powered CO2 generator in a shed grow. Running an old school Green Air Products Co2 Gen. The pilot light was enough to give a little bit of warmth to slow down the cooling of the shed, the shed was insulated.

Insulated shed is much better, it keeps the temps consistent.

If you ask me, you need to check your soil temps, make sure you're not getting the rootzone too cold.

Start a conversation with me, I got alot of tips after growing in a shed outdoors. I dont want to go off topic for this thread.

I'm down with c02, it makes a big difference in my yields. I like vented hoods also to keep the heat down. My temp is a constant 77. Got a c02 monitor to make sure my ppm is right on. I agree with having everything dialed in for c02 to be more beneficial than a fresh air intake. I have my carbon filter right next to my co2 tank, so if there is a leak it gets sucked through my light out the window.

I haven't really noticed a difference in my soil running out of food quicker one way or the other.

Growth rate, yield and bud density are what I see a difference in with c02.

Sweet man I've been worried about the plant eating up more nutes out of my soul faster now that I just set up my co2 generator yesterday but if they show signs I'll top dress and feed them some teas.

I've never grown in that type of cold, but one thing you can do is run your lights at night, and during the day have your vege room running, and ventilate using their lights, at the same time you are running your heater/co2 generator.
In cold areas co2 is easier to control by far.
No you don't run at night, co2 is ONLY for photosynthesis.
I grew in a cold area and my solution was ventilating the exhaust from one set of lights to the room that is at "night", and vice versa, but the flower room should have the lights on during the night, to help offset the colder temps, and you def want that heater running all the time.
during the day have your vege room exhaust into the flower room, at night have the flower vent into the vege, and like I said, have the heater running all the time.
You'll want a something to read the co2 levels, and temps/humidity.

Yeah I have a heater on all the time or when it needs to be since it has a thermostat, I just switched my lights to be on most of the night, my flower tent is in veg right now since this is my first scrog grow so I'm trying to fill out my netting than will flip to flower. But I have my flower tent vent into my veg, and I know it's a waist of co2 but I gotta have my gen on at night too for heat I'm not really aiming for a bigger harvest with the co2 just the heat that I need right now. But it's suppose to get back into the mid 20s and 30s temp tomorrow cuz this last week is been in the single digits and I'm not liking it and neither is my garden haha.
