Is there a way too run a two pipe system with your portable? Some have that capability and then it doesn't effect tent pressure. That may be your only option.

A single ducted ac takes the air to cool the compressor directly from the air in then room. A dual duct ac uses a seperate duct to cool the compressor from an outside source. I used to run a sealed co2 room, with a dual hose ac. I had the ac inside my flower room, and had the intake hose outside my sealed room, and the exhaust ducted outside my building. Unfortunately the dual hose could not keep with with my cooling demands (active air 14k btu dual hose is F N JUNK!!!!!). My single hose lg 14k btu works great, but not for a sealed room.

You either need to get a dual hose, or a mini split. A single hose will not work in a sealed enviroment, unless u want to go thru a 20# bottle of co2 in a week or less.

Most portables are junk :(. If you have a window in the room put a good window shaker in or yes the best would be a ductless heat pump if you need heat as well, if not then just an AC

Junk really, my 14k LG portable single hose fucking rocks!!!!! I had to swap out 1x 600 for a 1000 bulb cause the room was too cool. Can cool a 2600w 8x12x7 room with ease.
What do you mean it was to cold lol. Thermostat not work on it? And yup should have no problem as it removes 14000 btu's per hour :) I have a 30000 variable that cools and heats my whole house :).

I couldn't get the temp in the sweet spot, 75-77 from flip to wee7, then 72* until harvest. Was running 4* colder than I liked, so I swapped a 600 for a 1000 bulb, now the temps are where I want them at and I get 400w more light.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. But wouldn't adding co2 in the middle of flower stress the plants?

I always thought to it was proper tostart co2 the first day of flower or sooner, and cut it off for the final week.

After re reading your post, I understand your problem. The intake of your AC is sucking the gas out of the room. Dual hose portable ac's allieviate that problem.

Using the single hose portable AC, it would probably be best to cool the area surrounding the tent.

But you said in the middle of flower :). That's when you pour it on to bulk the shit up.

Perfect, I have the same issue with my cheap throwaway bedroom window one, it's either to cold or to hot. One extra chunky girl may help that ;).

Still wouldn't work as he needs to keep the room sealed and it's a room not a tent lol, I made that mistake too.

I wasn't able to cool a sealed 3x 600w 8x12x7 room enough with a dual hose portable ac. It was a 14k active air. My LG 14k single hose f n rocks. No prob with temps, but not running sealed/co2 any longer either.

You keep your room under 75f and run co2? How much light and what ac?
I have always looked for 86 to 90 with co2. Currently not even using co2. Seems like it only worth it if u have a big grow going.

1st run I kept ambient temps 82, leaf temps 78 and got 3 lbs of all fluffy garbage buds. Next run I dropped the temps a bit and got 80% normal yeilds, 20% was fluffy. I always drop temps last 2 weeks of flower. Now I'm back to an air exchange room, I have no worries of my normal harvests.
