dry ice is hella expensive lol i think it cost me 50-100$ for 5 pounds of it i think it was 10 or 15 bucks a pound cant remember lol it doesnt work as good as co2 tank or generator. and you dont put it on the plants i use to put it in pop bottles around the room with water in them just leave the cap off also remember you have to constantly buy dry ice as its hard to keep it stored it only lasts about a week and by then it produces barely any co2

co2 is important for plants theres about 300ppms of co2 in the air we breathe which is why our plants grow with out a system... when you increase co2 ppm levels you get anywheres from 30%-100% increased growth it helps them transfer and produce and use sugar in combination with photosynthesis so the lights should be ON when you co2... when the lights are off there is no photosynthesis therefor no point in wasting co2

I'm using a CO2 w/ regulator. Yes, DON'T use it when your lights are off. If the room is sealed off w/o exhaust fans, then you shouldn't overload the room w/ CO2. Too much is bad (and can be toxic to you buddy). I'm running mine with temps at 74-80F. You can operate them at higher temps which enables your plants to survive w/ the increased temps. I wouldn't worry about buying an air conditioner. Just look at your plants, like the above quote said, your temps at 88-90 are not too bad. If your plants are doing ok, don't worry about it. You are going to spend a lot of money for something you may not need. Peace my brother.

I forgot to mention, the holes in the tubing is ok, but think about it. once the gas falls on the plants It keeps going down. What's more important is to have circulation in the room. CO2 is heavier than air, but with a fan it will spread the gas and continue to circulate it around/through the leaves which is more beneficial then having it cascade down onto the plants then hover on the floor. It's not the base of the plant and dirt that benefits from it, it's the leaves. I use just a tube that's inserted into the back of my fan. My babies are doing great.

my buddies got the controller for co2 where you can play with the ppm or something, all he needs is a tank. btw how much would a controller cost?

you shouldn't have your regulator turned up to 10. It should have come with some kind of graph which tells you to take the size of the room then it tells you how many minutes it takes at a certain level to get to the desired ppm of co2 in the room. Mine is about 1700 cubic feet (LxWxH) and I run mine at level 3 for 30 min every three hours. I bought a digital timer from Home Depot and it turns it on and off for me. Yes, kick ass.

I Just Started Using Co2. I Was About 3 Weeks Into Flower When I Started And Now Its Week 5. I Cant Say Ive Seen Any Super Huge Gains Since I Added It. I Have Mine Regulated To Go Off With Lights And Exaust. I Add 6 Min Every 40 Min On Setting 5. My Room Is Almost 800sqft And That Putts In 1000 Ppm Every 40 Min. I Had 35 Plants And Now 21, Fucken Hermies. I Figure They Use At Least 500ppm In An Hour, Right? I Assume My Room Doent Recieve More Than 2000ppm At Any Time, If U Account For Plant Usage. My Rooms Pretty Sealed, I Just Keep Air Coming In From Out Side, The Tarp Around My Flower Room Looks Like A Huge Bubble, Its Awsome!

Hi Mate, I think you need a ppm reader (don't assume), so you can monitor your co2. the formulas only hold true without leaks, and that is very unlikely. I added
Co2 2 weeks ago, went by the formula, but got a reader last week (cap) and sure thing, I was waaay low. Benefits show above 800ppm but peak between 1100 - 1500ppm. I maintain mine at about 1400-1500ppm during lights on with awesome growth. I do not run exhausts during lights on, and my Co2 never turns off. It runs on a constant setting of .4 cft and hour in order to maintain the 1400-1500ppm. My temps are holding between 80 and 90 degrees. My only concern is the res temps which go up during lights on to about 81 degrees but drop back down again to 71 during lights off. I will try to insulate the resorviors and hopefully once the canopys are full I will maintain lower res temps. Only other option is external res or chillers, please not!!!
Btw, fuck the Hermies, I lost my last grow to Hermies. I switched back to not femd seeds.

word up bro! i do neen that fkn meter bad, guesing is for the birds. i need to harvest first tho, what kind of bitch is that! i may just turn it up for now and see what happens. How many plants and how big is your area? for comparison. have you figured out how much co2 the plants use in an hour?
check this: i managed to get 14 hemies out of my flower room over 3 weeks and have not had a single seed show up! also one of my mom plants went hella hermie after i topped the shit out of it, couse it got so tall, it came back with huge clusters of pollen sacks. it was a g-13x rock bud plant. the only one out of 10 that made it too. i was pissed. and yeah, fuck female seeds, thats the same shit you get when you get bag seeds from your dank, couse your dealers> growers> plants obviously went hermie on him for you and i to end with seeds in our bags, you know? fem seeds are the product of a female pollinating its self=hermie. no thanks. peace bra

I'm 14 days in flower, keep my co2 setting at .6 cf (1500ppm) and vent the room every 2.5 hours (about). I think there is about 170cf in a 20# tank, I use .6 an hour which makes it last for about 23 days. BTW, I had to get a res chiller, my res temps were out of control, now they are staying right at 67 degrees. I attached you some pics of what the plants look like after 12 days of 12/12, mind you they were stressed a bit from the early res temps, and a fan that fell and wiped out 20% of the OG and Black Domino
. But overal I can certainly see a huge difference in how tight the buds are stacking.Unity
