Co2?

So I been thinking about adding Co2 to my garden, my problem is I'm not sure if it'll be worth it.. My space is a 4'x4'x2' area.
I only want one plant. About how many tanks of Co2 would it take to complete an op. Does anyone know the better size to go with that could cost less in the long run?
My other option is to go through veg without Co2, and only start Co2 treatment during flowering. Idk about this co2 stuff so if theres any links y'all could share will also be appreciated
Thanks

But would paintball co2 tanks work? This is not somethin that will be done in large incrimants at all. Maybe one a day for a few seconds. Just as an extra boost really.

"All tanks are shipped empty to comply with US Department of Transportation". You'd have to go to a brick and mortar store. $22.50 for a 20 oz tank for a one plant grow hardly seems worth it to me. Besides, it won't turn your grow into super weed.

I kinda find co2 not really worth it in smaller grows
But I see your doing it in a garage that has higher heat (?) so want to use to your advantage???
It’s also a winning idea to do a few grows without co2 to set a baseline. One cannot tell if something is needed or better if you don’t have a baseline to start with.
That being said.....
I wouldn’t do canisters
Too expensive heavy and showy
Google tube how to make your own co2 generators.
Much better idea for a one plant operation.
Simple and can be made more stealth and cheap cheap cheap
( did I mention it’s cheap??)
Add a cheap co2 moniter ($80 off the bay) and your good to go.
Or you can buy basically the same co2 generators premade.
But why buy when you can diy??

In a tent that size a candle will push the CO2 over 1500ppm in 15 min. Gone in seconds when the exhaust fan turns on.

As long as you have regular exchanges of air in the tent you will not see any benefit from trying to add CO2. It's when the air is rarely replaced that CO2 is needed to keep levels up.

I've been using DIY alcohol lamps to boost CO2 for the stretch period of my plants but now that that's over I'll just keep my temp/rh controller set lower so the exhaust fan is kicking in more often to refresh the air. Still go down and light the wicks a half hour before the light comes on so they get a good dose of CO2 to start their day and give the light time to heat the room up and start the fan cycle going. Not sure how much it helps but can't hurt.

What he said^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Get a couple inside dogs and cats and that will raise your co2 levels.

I saw on a post and wanted to share..

A fellow grower said he takes a spray bottle and adds vinegar and baking soda.. cuts the straw tube off of the spray handle... shakes and sprays the C02 directly in tent a few times a day... to me this would be the cheapest and easiest way
