Co2Boost Vs without

I was wondering if anyone has grown both ways? If so how much of a difference did the co2boost make? And when did you start using it? The whole grow or just flowering? And how many Co2boosts did you use over the grow? Also how big is your grow space? Thanks in advance.

its rated at ppm. Ideal ppm for co2 is 1300ppm and gradually increase it, just how you increase your nutrient ppm. But this is from hearsay, you yourself can test if having higher ppm lvls can increase yield or would be a waste of ppm. No1 here to my knowledge have done this kind of test, but my hydro guy does say the same(the hydro store owner).

I try to stay away from supplies that i can buy elsewhere and save money that the hydro scene sells. Their just out there to take your money and a easy way of figuring that out is by checking out that video garden unknown provided(LOL).

if you read their faq trapper they claim 3000-5000 ppm being release from it. As i stated before a human breath out 4000-5000ppm of co2. I say 4000-5000ppm because maybe some people have a shorter exhale, i smoke so i know i have a bigger exhale. This test was done with my greenair product co2 controller and reader.

And also my Hydro guy also told me that if a person enter a grow space the co2 ppm in the growspace would raise 300-500ppm. I get this range from him telling me that his growspace raise to 800ppm when he enters the growspace and my growspace which has exaust raise 200ppm in C02 levels.

that product has the possiblity of not releasing any measurable co2. "Sometimes" you get reading of around 1100-1200 ppms according to a local shop owner.

i just measured my breath at 7200,i measured the co2 when my gas furnace is running at 1700,and when my hot water tank is going the room is 1200.thats not bad.

why waste money on that product where it will oinly last you 90 days according to them. You'd rather buy a 40lb bag of sugar and yeast and use your water. Instead of limiting yourself to a coke bottle try using a 5gal with a fan.

Theres a DIY on here that uses ona gel and a fan on RIU instead of using it for a odor eliminator you can use it for a co2 boost. Skys the limit! i plan on doing this method to save me some money on buying propane all the time for my co2 generator.

I guess the answer is you should get a bunch of your buddies together and a couple times a day all go to the grow and take deep breaths!

I use bottles of yeast and sugar and i have grown without them as well and i think that there is a notable difference with the co2 in the room.
I dont use them after 6 weeks though as a lot of growers have reported lower thc levels during the end phase of flowering with high levels of co2:blsmoke:

i have the bucket and im using it in 1 room and it seems to be doing its job but then again i dont know since the wieght hasnt been established yet. It seems to raise the ppm since my friend keeps caughing when hes in there but all and all i would say one of those dyi systems would do the job. one thin gilike is that the waste from these buckets can be used as potent soil fertilizer so its kind fo cool. would be much cooler if the price were lower. They should lower the price so that every grower can afford to throw one in. cause withthe current price structure if the system doesent bring me close to a gram per watt in sog with 10 days veg then i would say its worthless since i got .78 gpw last time arround. if the buckets were like 50 bucks then would be no problem what so ever.

has anyone tried sticking 2 of these in there?

are co2 cauges cheap?
