Hey guys,

For my next run I want to go organic and use coco coir with gaia green dry release amendments.

My question is what is a good. Ready to use coco coir?

And what's a good perlite brand?

I dont want to have to flush, just want the best ready to use coco coir for my newbie ass lol.

TIA

Canna coco is nice. Perlite I’m not sure but always be sure to rinse, charge, and buffer your coco

I don't know about the prepared coco as I like more control... I usually prepare coco from bricks by expanding and rinsing it through a 1/8" screen with tap water to get the majority of dust and small particles out, then I soak in a trashcan with a lot of tap water and a heavy dose of calmag and stir every hour or so for a few hours... the coir will float and any sand or heavy debris will sink... then I scoop out the coir and rinse well with RO and then I give a final rinse of RO + calmag.

I use the medium chunky perlite... brand doesn't matter... but be sure rinse your perlite too... lots of dust in that stuff.

Just went with canna coco. It's what most people seem to use in the usa. Look like the coco coir I wanted I would have to get from Canada and I dont want to pay that shipping lol
